Welcome to the new edition of the Friends of the Elderly newsletter. We hope this will help to keep you informed about events and activities coming up in our calendar.

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to all for your help with the Christmas parties this year. We had a terrific time and everyone enjoyed the fun, including a beautiful recital by students with the Opera Theatre Company.

Some of us went along to see Cinderella in the Gaiety Panto in the New Year, it was a great show, thanks to all the drivers and visiting volunteers who came along.

We have some terrific activities for volunteers this year and we look forward to seeing you at the Volunteers Party on Wednesday the 20th May.
