:: Editorial

Dear Volunteers,

Welcome to our third newsletter of 2009.

Some of you will already be aware that our volunteer drop-in evenings will run throughout the autumn. This is a great opportunity for you all to meet other volunteer visitors and to give feedback on your experiences with Friends of the Elderly.

I would like to invite any of you who are interested in making contact with another volunteer in your area. Even just having a chat and sharing experiences with a volunteer in your area can be very helpful. Meeting other volunteers is an excellent way to support each other. To find out which other volunteers work in your area, please contact your Area Coordinator (Allison, Amanda or Quinn).

We are looking forward to a very busy Christmas season here in Friends of the Elderly and hope to see you all at one of our events leading up to the Christmas holidays.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, queries, comments, thoughts or suggestions. As always, many thanks for your continued support for Friends of the Elderly.

All the best,

Eilis
